A. All the time! Here is the schedule of the various reports:
Q. What unit sizes to you track?
A. We are currently collecting data for all rental property. The balance of our early reporting will be 20+ unit buildings. As we develop the system, increase our outreach, and begin to receive more data contributions, we are ramping up to create a specialized report on 1-19 Unit properties.
Q. What market areas do you cover?
A We are currently focused on data collection in the Tri-County Area (King, Pierce, Snohomish) as well as Kitsap and Thurston counties.
Q. How is the data kept secure?
A. The Commercial Analytics is built on the NavigatorCRE platform, which is a Software as a Service (SaaS) product custom built for the Commercial Real Estate (CRE) industry to securely store, filter and report on data. NavigatorCRE is built and hosted on Microsoft’s Azure infrastructure, which allows data to be private, secure, and encrypted.
Q. How is my property data kept confidential?
A. The CA Analytics team aggregates all data to a three-property minimum, ensuring property-level and contributor confidentiality. Raw, singular property data is not sold, licensed or disclosed to third parties, ever.
Q. What makes CA different from other research services available?
A. CA is the only service that collects its data directly from the owners and operators of apartment buildings. To encourage contribution, we share our research directly with those contributors. We compile real data, straight from the source.
Q. What are the core values of Commercial Analytics?
A. We believe that when accurate apartment data is widely available, it benefits all of those involved. With better information, owners, property management companies, developers and policymakers alike can make better decisions on how to create efficient operations and value, create pragmatic public policy and ultimately, best serve our community of residents.
